Huron Meadows Metro Park – Take in a vibrant palette of colors throughout the fall. A densely packed, oak-hickory forest provides a quiet, serene setting to observe scarlet tanagers and yellow-billed cuckoos. Rented row boats, golf, fishing and cross-country skiing are some more of the recreational offerings.
Dexter Cider Mill – A local institution, this is the oldest continuously operating cider mill in Michigan. The natural cider is made from locally grown, hand-picked apples. The on-site bakery includes treats such as fresh doughnuts, pies, apple bread, apple strudel and jams.
